Harvey F. Boone, 85 of Palatka, Florida passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 at his home. He was born on October 22, 1927 in Miami, Florida to the late Morris O. and Eula Mae Boone. He was Veteran of the U.S.Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from Dade County Public works after 30 years of service. His pleasures of life included spending time with his family, farming and joke telling. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Boone. Survivors are his loving wife of 64 years, Sally L. Boone of Palatka, Fl.; son, John Boone and fiancee’ Michelle McCoy of Green Cove Springs, Fl.; daughter, Amy Michaud and husband, John of St. Petersburg, Fl..; grandchildren, Daniel (Carolyn) Boone, Sarah (Adam) Forsythe,Rebecca Boone, Sarah Michaud, Pollye Weatherby and husband, Jason, Hank Michaud and wife, Amanda; Great grandchildren, Jonathan Boone, Kassandra Boone, Emily Rose Boone, Austin Weatherby, Alissa Forsythe, and Emma Grace Weatherby. Graveside Service will be Friday, May 24, 2013, 10:30 AM at Townsend Cemetery SE 49th Place, Hawthorne, Fl. 32640. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Nature Coast, 6721 Crill Ave, Palatka, FL 32177. Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, San Mateo, Florida is entrusted to the arrangements
