Virginia H (Ginny) Evans, 79 of Welaka, Florida passed away on Saturday, March4, 2017 at her home. Virginia was born in Bellwood, Illinois to the late Leo and Helen Swiderski. She was Queen Mother of the Red Hats and a member of the Welaka Womens' Club She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Moose Lodge both of Crescent City, FL She enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved to play ship captain crew. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Biii Evans. Survivors are her daughter, Lori Beard of Delray Beach, Fl.; sons, Douglas Evans of Jacksonville, Fl., Jeff Evans and wife, Mary of White, Ga; grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle, and Stacy Beard, Cooper, Billy, and Blake Evans; great grandchildren, Katherine, Antonio and Caden Beard, Kiley Tritz and her fur baby, Nikki. Ginny's Life will be celebrated on Saturday, March II, 2017, 1:00PM at Watts Funeral Home in San Mateo, Fl. with Pastor Howard McMinn officiating. Reception will follow at her home.     Ginny’s husband Bill and I grew up together in the small town of Milan, TN. He and I were the best of friends and shared an apartment in Chicago at the time he met Ginny. We were each other’s best man at our respective weddings. I thought the world of both of them and their three children. My condolences to Lori, Doug. and Jeff. Your mother was an amazing lady and the perfect mate for your dad. Now thaT they are reunited, may they Rest IN Eternal Peace. God Bless all of you.
